Virtual Roundtable Discussion 2023 “The Issues Faced by Higher Education in Southeast Asia Regarding International Engagement Implementation”

To develop the quality of human resources for the future, the Kadiri University Cooperation Unit held a virtual roundtable discussion entitled "The Issues Faced by Higher Education in Southeast Asia Regarding International Engagement Implementation." The Office of National and International Affairs (ONIA) of Kadiri University successfully held the discussion on August 31, 2023, via Zoom.

This roundtable discussion featured speakers from several overseas university partners, including:

1.      Prof. Dr. Ahmad Naqiyuddin Bakar – Director DSP UiTM Global, Malaysia

2.      Dr. Ahmad Masum – UNISSA Brunei Darussalam

3.      Om Huvanandana – Assoc. Prof. TGBC, Thailand

4.      Prof. Nguyen The Hung – Vice President of APD, Vietnam

5.      Mr. Marlon B. Espedillon – Tarlac Agricultural University, Philippines

6.      Pamadya Vitasmoro, M.Pd., CPS – Kadiri University

7.      Dr. KY Ravikun – Vice Rector PPIU, Cambodia

Dr. Jenny Dang – Program Director of Tra Vinh University, Vietnam

This roundtable discussion was attended by lecturers and students from Kadiri University and foreign universities. It is hoped that students will gain background knowledge and new knowledge through this roundtable discussion.

This activity aims to implement academic activities with students and lecturers from foreign university partners, which can support the accreditation of study programs and institutions at Kadiri University. Furthermore, this activity broadens and refreshes knowledge on the material presented. The goal of this activity is to expand collaborative relationships not only nationally but also internationally, and to prepare graduates who can adapt and thrive in an international environment.
