INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR: “Level Up Your Academic Writing and Speaking Skill with Foreigner through English Workshop 2023”

Today's advancements in information technology require people to master the world's standard language, English. Mastering writing and speaking English is crucial for everyone to keep pace with developments in this modern era and avoid being left behind.

The International Webinar program, themed "Level Up Your Academic Writing and Speaking Skills with Foreigners through English Workshop," was held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesian Time) via Zoom Meeting.

The speaker for this event was Prof. Dr. Jagdish Batra, the former Head of the English Language Centre at O.P. Jindal Global University, India.

This event's purpose was to provide opportunities for lecturers and students to participate in international activities in the fields of education and teaching, research, and community service. Furthermore, this event served as a platform to improve the quality of Kadiri University students and to gain insights from various foreign countries on improving foreign language skills, especially English.

There were 117 students from Kadiri University participated. The event began with an opening led by moderator Mr. Khan, followed by an introduction and presentation by Prof. Dr. Jagdish. A question-and-answer session and group photo concluded the event.

The Kadiri University students were enthusiastic about the workshop material.
